Intro to Computer Programming (PA, AS)

Grades 10-12 (9^th Graders with Teacher or Counselor Permission)

Prerequisite: Algebra (Elementary) and Computer Technology

Lab Usage Fee: $5/per semester

This one-semester course introduces students to computers and computer programming. Topics covered include characteristics of computers, problem solving techniques, programming methodology, and programming language elements and structures. We will introduce programming concepts using beginning programming environments like Alice, and then introduce the basics of the Java programming language.
