    AP TESTING: Attention AP students. Testing starts next week. Make sure you know where your test is and what time you need to be there. Morning sessions start at 7:30. No late students will be admitted so be there on time. Afternoon sessions start at 12:30 - Again no late students will be admitted so be there on time and make sure you are in your seat ready to start before the doors are locked.

    Dance Concert May 2nd and May 3rd. 7:00 pm. 3$ students ($4 at the door), $5 adults, $20 family pass (6 people).

    PHS Drama Banquet: The time has come for the PHS Drama Banquet! If you want to attend you need to sign up with Mr. Bauer by Friday, May 2nd.

    Summer Drivers' Ed: Drivers' Ed Summer Forms are in the main office. Get them turned in!

    Seminar for Multicultural Students: Listen up 10th graders who are Multicultural Students, meaning qualified students of various talents and backgrounds, including geographic, educational, cultural, ethnic, and racial). BYU is offering a one-day seminar for you to attend on Saturday, May 10th. Workshops on communication, like getting along with teachers and parents, and preparing for college, touring BYU campus, eating lunch while winning free BYU prizes are some of the activities. If you're interested, please come down to the Counseling Office and see Momi. Remember...multicultural means qualified students of various talents and backgrounds...this may be you!

    Artist Lecture: Brian Christensen, an amazingly talented sculptor, will speak in the presentations room on May 6 at 2:15 pm.

    Summer School  June 2-27th.  Catalogue available in the counseling office.  Don't be bored in June - come to Summer school!

    PHS Choirs  returned from their annual music tour ready for more action with Region Choir tihs week!  The choirs toured Seattle, Washington and had an incredible journey!  The PHS Chamber Singers sang the National Anthem for 35,000 excited fans at the Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball Game!  Welcome back our choirs by supporting them at Region Choir this Wednesday, 3:30 pm at Timpview High School!  Way to go PHS Choirs!! Good luck at Region!

    Girls Volleyball:  Volleyball team meeting on Thursday during lunch in the Main Gym.  Volleyball clinic begins today (4/22) at 3:00 pm in the Main Gym.  Pick up forms in the Main Office.

    Student Government - Appointed Officers:  Officers for next year are: Supreme Court: Scott Frandsen, Justin Ebmeyer adn Kelsey Nelson; Public Relations: Jessica Trewartha; Business Manager: Marcos Hernandez; Artist: Amber Allen; Technical Specialist: Steven Markham

    Baby Photos of Seniors:  We need your baby photo for the Graduation ceremonies.  Bring your photo to the Main Office by Friday.  Be sure to label it with your name.  Read in the latest newsletter for information about e-mailing a digital copy of your photo. If you dropped off your photo earlier, you can now come and pick it up.

    UCCU Credit Interns:  We are looking for 11th graders to become UCCU credit interns next year, as well as 11th graders who want to work in the Dawg House next year.  Both of these opportunties earn you experience and money.  See Mr. Olsen in the Intern Office in Counseling.

     

    After School Tutoring:  After school tutoring is still available all year, Mon-Thu, 2:15 - 4:15 in the library. 

    Lunch Study Hall:  Do you want less homework at home?  Do you want great grades in Term 2?  Come to Lunch Study Hall in b2-8, Dr. Lillian's Room.  Every lunch--Be there!

The Parent Center is open and the hours are 1-7pm Mon-Thurs, and Friday 2-4pm? The Parent Center phone number is 373-6550 x 3322

Scholarships for this week: We want to give out more scholarship information...

1.  Are you a student that didn't do too well 9, 10th, 11th grade but you kicked it up a notch or two this year?  Come pick up the "Most Improved" student scholarship application.  It is due completed April 10th.  Two scholarships will be given to Provo High Seniors

2.  Are you attending BYU-Idaho next year?  There is a $1,000 scholarship for GIRLS going to BYU-I.  Come get your application in the CCC.  This is for Provo High Girls going to BYU-I.  You have an excellent opportunity to get money.  Three or four will be awarded!

3.  Boys State applications - if I gave you an application andyou didn't get it in, its not too late.  I will accept today.  Two of our junior boys that will be attending.

4.  Wanda Scott Scholarship - Provo High Seniors going into Business or teaching can earn a $1,000 scholarship.  Pick up your appications

5.  Did you go to Grandview Elementary:  Earn a scholarship.  Come pick up an application.
