Learn to keep financial records for personal and business use. Students will learn concepts for keeping accurate records. Students will have an opportunity to expand business knowledge and experience with FBLA, a student organization dedicated to building future business leaders.  Accounting 1 students will focus on financial records for proprietorship and partnership businesses.

Students will develop advanced skills that build upon those acquired in Accounting I.

Additional accounting skills such as reconciling uncollectible accounts, calculating depreciation on assets, interpreting financial information, and calculating notes and interest will be developed. Students will have an opportunity to expand business knowledge and experience with FBLA, a student organization dedicated to building future business leaders.  The focus in this class is on the records of a corporation.
