Prerequisite:: One year in a previous Provo High choir, and successful audition required.

Year-Long Course

The Advanced Women’s Ensemble is the top women’s chorus at PHS. This choir serves two purposes. 1) To provide opportunities for advanced female singers to continue to vocally develop and musically progress, and 2) To serve as a “prep” choir for women who want to participate in the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. The choir focuses on advanced SSA and SSAA choral music from a variety of genres and composers, and provides necessary knowledge of music fundamentals for more advanced choirs. If scheduling allows, it is recommended that Advanced Women’s Ensemble students enroll simultaneously with Concert Choir.
