This course is the first year of a 2-year program. This course allows students to participate in directly applying the math learned in Algebra 1. Tech Prep I contains laboratory activities problem-solving activities and video programs. The course contains some of the important mathematics you need to be a productive member of today's workforce. Each activity has been chosen to help the student understand the mathematics you need to work and live in a technical world. Each activity has been designed to make mathematics more useful and meaningful for you -- and reduce some of the "math anxiety" we all feel at one time or another.
