Algebra 2 Concurrent Enrollment/Math 1010 UVSC (M, AS if used as a 4th year of math)

Prerequisite: Geometry 1 and completing of Compass Test with score of 58 or ACT Score of 19.

First semester will be a review for the Compass Tests which will be taken during that semester. If the Compass Test is passed with 58 or better or ACT 19 or better, semester 2 will be Math 1010 from UVSC for Concurrent Enrollment Credit. This curriculum covers a variety of Intermediate Algebra topics. The following is a list of some of the topics covered: Solving and graphing linear equations and systems of linear equations, solving and graphing quadratic equations (parabolas), functions, exponential (including rational exponents) and logarithmic functions, polynomial functions, rational functions, beginning concepts of conic equations, and some statistical concepts.
