A.P. U.S. Government is a first semester course which teaches the Constitution and how our government works today.  Subjects of study include historical underpinnings and the Constitution, separation of powers, public opinion, the media, elections, special interest groups, civil rights, civil liberties and economic, environmental, foreign and military policy.  Current events are often used as a springboard for each subject of study.  Review and study session will be offered for the A.P. Exam given in May.  Concurrent enrollment credit available.
